Vita First Aid Services Victoria

At Vita First Aid, we are working towards promoting change through standards that cannot be compromised.

Our team of first aid responders and medical professionals have medical training in paramedicine, nursing and other disciplines, and we employ contracted staff rather than volunteers to ensure a top-quality first aid response for any occasion.

Our first aid services extend to providing detailed risk analyses for events, so that event organisers are able to plan for what resources they need to ensure safe practices at all times. We work closely with event organisers to deliver top first-aid services.

First Aid First Responder - FAQ

  • What first aid services (Victoria) does Vita First Aid provide?

At Vita First Aid, we are committed to providing a range of first aid services that guarantee your next event runs as safely and smoothly as possible from start to finish. Some of the event first aid services we provide include but are not limited to: planning event medical needs and aid requirements from start to finish, providing a management plan and an on-site team of emergency physicians and event paramedics on the day, and providing top-quality service, staff & equipment that will be able to deal with any situation that may arise.

  • What kind of first aid services should be available at an event?

When organising an event, it is important to consider the necessary first aid measures that should be in place.

If you are hosting a large event like a motor sport event or festival event, it is important to have access to a licensed first aid service provider like the team at Vita First Aid. This will ensure you have access to adequate Victorian first aid services in the event of an emergency.

In addition, Vita First Aid will work with you to put a plan in place for contacting emergency services and identifying any potential hazards or risks specific to the event venue.

By ensuring that proper medical services and action plans are in place, event organisers can greatly reduce the likelihood of injury or medical emergencies occurring, creating a safe environment for all attendees.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Vita First Aid acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

  • Who is a first responder?

A first responder is a trained individual who holds an advanced first aid certificate and can provide initial care and treatment for injuries or medical emergencies until advanced medical help arrives. This includes things like administering CPR, controlling bleeding, bandaging wounds, anaphylaxis, asthma, pain management and handling fractures or dislocations.

It is important to note that first responders are not the same as paramedics, as they are not registered health professionals.

However, their training and quick response can be crucial in saving someone's life in a critical emergency.
